Whimsical Boudoir Session in a Parisian Hotel

A dreamy editorial session in a bathtub in Paris.

Being a wedding photographer, it feels good to step outside the wedding world from time to time and go on create more personal work, let the imagination run a bit wild(er). This summer I had this opportunity with the amazing designer Violette Tannenbaum. We had the same vision of a whimsical, ethereal boudoir session that would include beautiful flowers and a... bathtub :)

French Cliffs Lilac Bridal Shoot

 

Have you ever felt at peace whenever you come close to the sea or nature in general ? I have. I feel that being surrounded by the nature, brings us back to the essence of beauty and that's why it resonates so deep within us. But living in a busy city such as Paris doesn't always make it easy for us to reconnect with nature. Luckily, not far from there, we have amazing places like these amazing Cliffs of Etretat, Normandy. This shooting was inspired by this quote :

”When anxious, uneasy and bad thoughts come, I go to the sea, and the sea drowns them out with its great wide sounds, cleanses me with its noise, and imposes a rhythm upon everything in me that is bewildered and confused"
